A geomembrane is a factory-made impermeable sheet, welded on site into one continuous liner. Where a coating would be impractical over acres of earthwork, a geomembrane gives you a controlled, testable barrier in a single layer.
It is the standard containment solution for water storage ponds, canal lining, effluent lagoons and landfill cells: anywhere water or leachate must be kept from entering the ground, or the ground kept from draining a reservoir.

The subgrade is graded smooth, compacted and cleared of stones, roots and sharp objects.
A perimeter anchor trench is excavated to hold the liner edges.
Panels are unrolled and positioned with the correct overlap, allowing for thermal expansion.
Seams are double-track welded and every seam is air-pressure tested; results are recorded.
The anchor trench is backfilled and any protective soil or geotextile cover is placed.
